Friday was very exciting! First, we went deep sea fishing with friends of ours Dave and Michelle. An hour and a half into the trip we got the first bite. It took Dave 1 hour 35 mins and 46 seconds to reel the fish in....and guess what was on the line? A boat record 800 lb. Blue Marlin!! It was a beautiful fish!! Normally, the marlin would have been tagged and released, but the captain was ready to harpoon this "monster" and bring him in. However, once we got the fish to the surface and near the boat, he took a hard left under the boat and cut the line!! Big bummer! That evening was the Pirate Plunder Party, where everyone dressed up like pirates. It was held at the casino at the top of the mountain overlooking Canouan Island. As you can tell from the picture it was a perfect backdrop for a party! Arrrrr.....
Saturday was back to reality and we returned home. Our Claire Bear was waiting for us with some very dirty looks, guess she wasn't happy that we "abandoned" her!
