Santa Claus

Today we took Claire to the Gardens Mall to meet Santa Claus! We weren't sure how she would do since she is at the stage where she is not all that sure about people that aren't familar to her. We told them when we got there, "Listen, she doesn't have to smile, the picture doesn't have to be perfect, just get one before she screams". However, we were all pleasantly surprised that she did really good!! There was one point where she put her "cry face" on (you will see the picture in her "November" pictures) but she never really cried. I'm so proud of her! She also looked super cute in her Christmas outfit. For christmas she asked for her second front tooth.... and a sister :)

Beach Babe

The other night Chadd and I were discussing our travel plans for our trip out to Park City in January, when it occurred to me that even though Claire was born in Florida, she might actually see snow before sand! Well I couldn't possibly let that happen, so today my mom and I took Claire down to Lake Worth beach. Check out our pics on the November page!

New Kids On The Block

On Saturday, I went to see New Kids on the Block in concert!
So, here's the story. In my teenage years the only ones to get a poster in my room besides George Michael was New Kids on the Block and Donnie Wahlberg. In 1989, they were performing at Kristen's Grad Night at Walt Disney World. I wanted her to take me, but she took her boyfriend, Woody, instead. I've held a grudge for the past 19 years. When they announced their tour earlier this year, I told her she OWED me a ticket! Dammit. Since the concert was 2 days before my birthday, she took me as my birthday present! It was awesome. My two best friends, Christi and Dawn, also went and we had a great time. When they opened the show and started singing "My Favorite Girl" I felt like I was 15 years old again! Kind of weird since I turn 34 today!
