Doggie Pool Party

Today, Amanda brought Charley over so we could have a "Doggie Pool Party". Claire enjoyed watching the doggies jump in the pool and swim.

I have teeth!

Well Chadd returned home from his two week trip to Singapore, the Philippines and Thailand. While he was gone, Claire got her first tooth. I didn't tell him, I wanted her to bite him when he got home. But then she bit me, and I realized how much those "baby needles" hurt! So, I told him when he got home. Then, this morning, we found she now has her second bottom tooth!

The Latest Stats

Claire had her 6 month check up today! Her latest stats are: height 27 and 1/2 inches (95th percentile) and weight 17.7 lbs (80th percentile). She gets to start eating meats, which according to Dr. Rahman, taste like cat food. She got 4 shots in her chubby thighs, and to make her feel better Chadd got a sympathy shot! Since he is leaving for Asia tomorrow morning, Dr. Rahman recommended that he have a Hepatitis A vaccine, and offered to give it to him. So, they shot him up too. I was perfectly happy to be the only one leaving without a needle poked through my skin. I was hoping they would give Chadd a "princess" band-aid, but they gave him the boring adult kind. Claire is going to miss Daddy while he's roaming the world, but maybe he will bring her home a panda bear! :)
